A Day in the PulStar Office

Known for being a leader of innovation in the world of chiropractic tools, it’s fair to imagine that the PulStar office looks similar to a futuristic laboratory full of robotics, test tubes, and scientific geniuses.

While you wouldn’t be far off on the geniuses assumption (we love our team and find them brilliant), you might be surprised by what a day in the PulStar office actually looks like. So, we’re here to give you an insider glance at the inner workings of what goes on at PulStar.

Morning Coffee and Light Reading

Like most offices, mornings at PulStar revolve around caffeine. As everyone enjoys a cup of brew, a review of the latest chiropractic research and literature is conducted. Dr. Joseph M. Evans, CEO of Sense Technology, typically heads this charge, as he is also the head of research and development at PulStar.

This review is essential to PulStar’s goal of providing their doctors and patients with the best possible technology both now and in the future. Research informs updates to the current PulStar suite and changes to any upcoming releases.

This emphasis on continual innovation and progress is part of what differentiates PulStar from other instrument-adjusting options and makes the most affordable PulStar G3 Tech Suite the most widely used system on the market today.

Since Dr. Evans brought the first version of PulStar to market in 1993, the price for consumers has decreased dramatically while reliability and functionality have improved. Thanks to PulStar’s focus on research, there is no doubt that this trend of enhanced functionality, reliability, and affordability will continue.

Feedback, Reviews, and Development

Accompanying the morning coffee and review of recent chiropractic research and literature, the PulStar team goes over doctor feedback and reviews the current software.

During this process, doctor feedback regarding the PulStar G3 is taken into account and factored into future enhancements to both software and hardware. The feedback and corresponding reviews are recorded and added to an ongoing list of potential developments for updates and products.

When reviewing software, the crew at PulStar sorts through the current code base and list of software enhancements needed for new features or bug fixes.

Thanks to the new PulStar 11 software, doctors using PulStar receive updates through the Apple App Store as they are released. With PulStar’s commitment to continually pushing the limits and providing doctors with the best tools possible, eight updates have been released in the last 12 months alone.

Streamlined Daily Tasks

In addition to the exciting innovations that are taking place at the PulStar office, there are several tasks that demand attention every day. One such task is extremely exciting—fielding calls from current PulStar doctors, as well as patients searching for a local PulStar doctor to call their own.

This daily task is usually quite enjoyable, as patients often call to share positive experiences with PulStar doctors.

Sometimes, they even want to refer someone they know to a PulStar Doctor, thereby expanding the PulStar family.

At the heart of Sense Technology’s & Dr. Evans’ vision is the desire to help patients find relief from musculoskeletal pain and live healthier lives. Receiving positive feedback and welcoming new doctors and patients motivates the team to continue leading the industry in innovative healing technologies.

Manufacturing and shipping new systems also occur every day. This includes quality control, precise packing of equipment, and proper shipping of each product. When a shipment is sent, PulStar strives to keep doctors informed.

The team even calls doctors to assist with the installation and system setup, helping doctors get their PulStar up and running quickly and easily. This is also the perfect time to answer questions, walk doctors through the program, and problem-solve any potential sticking points a doctor encounters.

Finally, the PulStar team makes contact with vendors and contracted manufacturers to ensure inventory is up-to-date and on hand.

This daily process also allows PulStar to maintain healthy relationships with all of its partners, catch production issues or delays before they become problems, and keep the supply chain as streamlined as possible.

Late Nights and Global Reach

PulStar has a strong presence in North America, but its reach is not limited to a singular country or continent.

The comprehensive suite of products offered by PulStar is also sold in China, India, and a number of other countries around the world.

Often, the team needs to make contact with distributors and doctors in these other regions of the globe. Working with them means accommodating their time zones, whether it’s for a phone call, virtual presentation, or video chat.

The result is the occasional late night for the PulStar team. The effort and sleeplessness are well worth it, of course!

So, there you have it—a day in the PulStar office. While no two days are exactly alike, this should paint a pretty accurate picture of what a normal day at PulStar encompasses. If you have any questions about PulStar’s instrument adjusting tools, the company itself, or the research driving the innovation, feel free to reach out to us. Our team loves hearing from people new and established within the PulStar family and will gladly answer any questions you share.
