Using the PulStar ROI calculator
Understand the inputs, assumptions and limits behind each estimate.
What information do I enter in the PulStar ROI calculator?
Enter your average patient visit income, estimated monthly PulStar payment and assumed extra patients per week. You can also change the maximum extra-patient number shown in the scenario table. Replace the starting values with figures relevant to your practice, including a payment from your actual financing quote.
How does the calculator estimate extra monthly revenue?
The calculator multiplies assumed extra patients per week by average visit income and 4.33 weeks per month. That produces the extra monthly revenue estimate. Changing either patient volume or visit income changes the result, so the figure reflects your inputs rather than a prediction of new patient demand.
What does net monthly gain mean in this calculator?
Net monthly gain is estimated extra monthly revenue minus the monthly PulStar payment you enter. The calculator does not deduct other practice expenses, such as staffing, overhead or taxes. Read this figure as the result of that limited calculation rather than a complete measure of practice profit.
How is the break-even patients-per-week figure calculated?
The calculator divides your monthly PulStar payment by average visit income multiplied by 4.33, then rounds up to a whole number of extra patients per week. This estimates the weekly volume needed to cover the entered payment under those assumptions. It does not include other operating costs.
Does projected annual gain predict what my practice will earn?
No. Projected annual gain is the calculator’s net monthly estimate multiplied by 12. It assumes the entered visit income, extra patient volume and monthly payment remain the same throughout the year. The tool is for illustration; actual activity, costs and financial results can differ from the scenario.
Can I compare scenarios and save the calculator results?
Yes. The scenario table compares different numbers of extra patients per week using your visit income and monthly payment. Set its maximum range to show more or fewer scenarios. Use Print / Save PDF for a copy, or Copy shareable link to share the calculator with your values prefilled.
