New PulStar® Software Enhancements

Real-Time Bio-Feedback, Smarter Adjusting, and Faster Documentation

The newest PulStar software update delivers meaningful improvements that help chiropractors analyze more clearly, adjust more confidently, and document more efficiently. These enhancements are not theoretical—they’re practical tools you’ll feel immediately in daily practice.

To see all of the features demonstrated step by step, watch the full walkthrough video below:

Clearer Analysis With More Control

Selective Regional Stiffness (Yellow Bars)

You can now control how regional stiffness indicators appear on the analysis screen:

Why this matters:

Yellow bars often suggest soft tissue involvement, but not all soft tissue patterns mean the same thing clinically.

This added control lets you focus your visual attention exactly where it’s most clinically relevant for that visit.

Intersegmental Orange Bars: Seeing Issues Before They Become Problems

A new optional display shows orange intersegmental bars where a segment is very close to meeting subluxation criteria, but hasn’t crossed the threshold yet.

Why this matters:

These indicators give you a “heads up” on segments that may not require intervention today, but are important to monitor on future visits. It adds a new level of clinical foresight to PulStar analysis.

Smart Adjusting With Real-Time Bio-Feedback Monitoring

When you transition from analysis to adjust, the software guides you through vertebrae based on fixation severity. You can also reorder that list to match your preferred workflow.

Live Effectiveness Indicator (Red → Green)

One of the most important upgrades is real-time bio-feedback monitoring during the adjustment itself.

Why this matters:

This provides objective, real-time confirmation that the adjustment has achieved its intended biomechanical effect. Instead of relying solely on impulse count or tactile feel, you now receive immediate feedback that helps you:

Expanded Soft Tissue and Myofascial Options

Soft tissue care is now documented with greater precision. Instead of a single “soft tissue” label, you can:

Your records now accurately reflect everything you did during the visit, not just spinal adjustments.
AI-Assisted SOAP Notes With Built-In Dictation

The Notes section now makes documentation significantly faster:

Importantly, all AI processing is handled locally on your Apple computer, not in the cloud. You gain speed and polish without compromising data privacy.

Automatic Recording of Adjustments and Soft Tissue Care
PulStar now stores detailed treatment data with each visit, including:

This information appears automatically in the visit summary and SOAP note.

New Multi-Visit Review: See Progress Over Time

A new “Overall” review view lets you scroll back through prior visits and compare:

It turns PulStar into a long-term clinical tracking tool, making progress, and problem areas, easy to identify and explain.
