Post-analysis and Compare

The post-analysis measures the same vertebrae again after treatment, to check that the expected change was achieved.

Post-analysis

  1. After the last adjustment, click the button on the impulse head, or click Click to start post analysis.
  2. Measure the spine as you did for the pre-analysis.

The pre- and post-analysis charts appear side by side, with the overall increase in mobility across the spine and the increase at the vertebrae you adjusted. Patients can see that a small change in one place can affect the whole spine.

It helps to let the treated area rest before you measure it again, for example by working on other areas first. The best measure of a treatment's effect is often the pre-analysis at the patient's next visit.

To skip the post-analysis, turn on Disable Post Analysis in Session preferences. Turn on Replace Post with Adjusted as well to show the readings taken during treatment in its place.

Compare a region

Compare measures one region of the spine in two positions: once with the patient turned to the left, and once turned to the right. For example, compare the cervical spine in flexion with the head turned left, then turned right.

  1. Click Compare in the sidebar and choose the region in Compare Segment.
  2. Measure the left side, then click the button on the impulse head and measure the right side.

Click Clear to measure a side again. The next click of the button after the right side moves to Adjust.
