Control PulStar with Apple Watch

With the PulStar Remote app on your Apple Watch, you can control a session on your Mac from your wrist, without walking back to the computer.

What you can do from the watch

Set up

  1. Make sure the Mac and the watch (or its iPhone) are signed in to the same iCloud account, and Bluetooth is on for both.
  2. On the Mac, choose PulStar > Preferences, click General, then turn on Allow control from Apple Watch. The status reads “Ready” when the Mac is waiting for the watch.
  3. Open PulStar Remote on the watch. It finds the Mac through iCloud and connects. No code is needed.

Keep the Mac nearby and awake, with PulStar open. The watch controls the Mac only during a session, and only while the PulStar device and impulse head are connected.
